Mundoflex WordPress as a hub for brand, sales and resale
The Brand
Mundoflex is a family-run footwear manufacturer based in Birigui (SP), Brazil's national capital of children's footwear and a historic hub for the sector. With more than three decades in the market, the brand built its positioning on a clear principle: footwear is not just aesthetics, it is health. Under the slogan “For every pain, a model”, it develops therapeutic products aimed at relieving and preventing conditions such as heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, bunions, osteoarthritis, arthritis, fibromyalgia, herniated discs, Morton's neuroma, bursitis, diabetes and sciatic nerve dysfunction, as well as pain in the spine, knees and joints.
Every item is the result of continuous research, consultancy with physiotherapists and orthopaedists, and the development of exclusive raw materials — a combination that earned the brand the Primus Award in two categories: Sustainability (2015) and Technological Innovation (2016). The footwear is certified by IBTeC — the Brazilian Institute of Leather, Footwear and Artefact Technology, with the Comfort Technology and Comfort seals, attesting to technical rigour where it matters: the customer's foot.
The challenge
Mundoflex needed an institutional digital presence able to sustain the complexity of its operation: a technical brand with a health narrative, an extensive portfolio and three simultaneous commercial fronts — the end consumer (who arrives looking for relief from a specific pain), the retailer interested in reselling (expecting margin, support and differentiation) and the affiliate (a scalable revenue channel).
The site had to translate, into content architecture, three layers that normally compete with each other:
The brand's clinical authority — technologies, IBTeC certifications, therapeutic indications, and the distinction between the anatomic and orthopaedic lines. The segmented portfolio — dozens of models across flip-flops, sandals, birken styles, mules, trainers, flats and slides, each tied to specific benefits. The distinct commercial channels — online store (B2C), retailer portal (B2B), affiliate programme, physical point-of-sale locator and content blog.
The Elleven Solution
The site was built on WordPress, with a custom architecture on a proprietary theme — a strategic choice that combines editorial autonomy for the client (publishing new products, promotional banners and blog posts without technical dependency) with the flexibility needed to integrate multiple subdomains and external systems.
Multi-audience information architecture — each journey (consumer, retailer, affiliate, resale partner) has its own entry point, a defined visual hierarchy and a CTA matched to its funnel stage.
A modular product system — each model (Birken Lola, Mule Stilo, Chinelo Robust, Sapatilha Casual, among dozens of others) has its own page with a technical sheet, therapeutic indications and applied technologies, organised in a consistent taxonomy.
Accessible technical communication — the brand's 12 proprietary technologies (gait correction, impact absorption, overload reduction, postural correction, anti-slip, ultra-lightness, malleable fabric, personalised fit, ergonomic design, therapeutic massage, comfort) were translated into a dedicated iconography, with didactic explanations in progressive layers.
Integrations with the brand's digital ecosystem — a fluid connection to the online store and the retailer portal, the affiliate programme and the physical reseller locator, turning the institutional site into a central conversion hub.
Marketing and analytics layer — Google Tag Manager, Meta conversion Pixel and a structure ready for paid campaigns, with landing pages segmented by product line.
Technical SEO — optimised meta tags, Open Graph markup for sharing, a dynamic sitemap, friendly URLs by category and product, and a blog structured for organic capture on long-tail searches related to foot conditions.
Performance and responsiveness — an adaptive layout with dedicated mobile versions, image optimisation and a structure prepared for the main Core Web Vitals indicators required by Google.
